WmergeICO

WmergeICO is a multi-resolution icon/cursor file creator. It merges multiple ICO or CUR files into a single file, allowing Windows or EWMH-compliant Linux desktops to use the most appropriate resolution for the current display when showing a program or window icon on the desktop.

Both GUI and command line versions of the program are supplied. The screenshot above shows the GUI version being used to combine 32x32, 48x48 and 256x256 icons into a single ICO file. The preview field shows the icon in the currently selected input file, helping to verify that the correct images are being combined.
